What is composting?

Compost improves soil structure, texture, and aeration and increases the soil’s water holding capacity. It also promotes soil fertility and stimulates healthy root development. The difference between SoilBuilder and BioFine Compost
It’s all about the size the material is screened to:
SoilBuilder is screened at 5/8 inch minus which is perfect for amending soil before planting or sodding, tilling into garden spots, building up mounds for planting and for use as a decorative alternative to bark in all gardening areas.
BioFine is screened at 3/8 inch minus which is specially designed for topdressing existing turf. We recommend a spring and fall application each year.
